Our Story: The Journey of Shining Twins Commercial Cleaning Limited
Our Story
Built by sisters. Driven by standards.
Tandem Clean was founded by twin sisters Dannielle and Nicol, right here in Hailsham, East Sussex.
As sisters, mothers and business owners, we know how much a clean, safe and well-maintained environment matters. Whether it’s a busy workplace, a shared commercial space or a specialist cleaning situation, we believe cleaning should be about more than simply making somewhere look clean — it’s about creating spaces that people can feel comfortable, safe and confident in.
Our journey began with Shining Twins, providing residential cleaning throughout our local community. We quickly realised that our strengths, ambition and attention to detail were better suited to the commercial sector. We wanted to build something bigger — a professional cleaning company that businesses could genuinely rely on.
And so, Tandem Clean was born.
The name reflects exactly what we are: two sisters working side by side, with the same goal and the same standards.
Today, we provide professional commercial cleaning solutions tailored to the individual needs of businesses across East Sussex. From regular office and commercial cleaning to carpet and upholstery cleaning, deep cleans and specialist services, we approach every job with the same care, consistency and attention to detail.
We're also developing our specialist cleaning services, including biohazard and trauma cleaning, because we believe some of the most important cleaning work is the work that isn't always talked about. These situations require professionalism, discretion and respect — qualities that are at the heart of everything we do.
We're proud to be a local, family-run business, but our ambitions are anything but small.
Our aim is simple: to build a cleaning company known for reliability, professionalism and exceptional standards — one client, one premises and one clean at a time.
Two sisters. One team. One standard.
Tandem Clean.
